The Project Itabom of Ball and School, created in 10/09/2005, currently serves 139 children: 80 boys and 59 girls, who are aged from 07 to 14 years. Students are divided into categories: Mirim, Toothlet and Tooth of Milk.
The project is to occupy the spare time of children (period opposite to the school) with classes of football, ensuring that they don’t follow the path of marginality.
Another objective is to encourage the child to have good grades, discipline and good behavior and therefore to improve their school performance and hence its performance in society.
The construction process of social responsability through the football is given the recognition and respect of rules, the individual differences, the fight against prejudice, by participation in group process, by increased awareness of the rights and duties, as well as the confidence in the potential of transformation of each.
They are part of the technical staff and maintenance of a project: coordinator general, a teacher for boys and another one for girls, three assistants and a general service assistant.
Are generated documents (called a presence report of activities) and the weekly coordinator moves up to the school for each child and calls for follow-up report provided by them.
Participants have to provide all equipment needed (cleats, balls, uniforms, training material for teachers), with juice or chocolate snacks are offered daily, transportation (round trip) to the location of training.
Project Itabom of Ball and School provides the participation of children in tournaments, talks with professional players, educational lectures and commemorative celebrations.
